Ryan
Director
Garage 27 exists because Ryan wanted to build the kind of dealership and workshop he would actually trust himself. Honest, hands on and built around real knowledge of cars rather than sales tactics.
With more than 25 years in the automotive industry , Ryans experience comes from years spent under bonnets, in workshops and around Motorsport.
Around the workshop he is known for being the calm one in the chaos, although he is also responsible for half the wild ideas that become reality. Whether he is sourcing stock, helping customers, talking cars or finding another project to bring to life, his focus has always stayed the same: building a business people genuinely enjoy coming back to.
Outside of Garage 27 he enjoys spending time with his family, going on camping trips and inevitably working on another car project.
Alex
Operations Manager
If Garage 27 looks organised while chaos is happening behind the scenes, chances are Alex is the reason. As Operations Manager she keeps the day to day running smoothly across customer service, social media, admin and everything in between.
With over 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, Alex originally started on the corporate side before moving into a role that allowed more creativity, growth and connections with customers. Around the workshop she is best known for creating the social media content everyone pretends to complain about but secretly loves, as to why you will never see her in front of the camera.
She believes in being honest with customers and making sure people feel looked after. If she doesn’t know an answer straight away, she will find it.
Outside of work you will usually find her reading, horse riding or spending time with her daughter.
Shaun
Head Mechanic
With 22 years in the automotive industry, Shaun brings serious experience, performance knowledge and straight up honesty to the Garage 27 workshop. From everyday servicing and repairs to performance work and tuning, he is the guy making sure things are done properly the first time.
Growing up around family members with fast cars, sparked his love for the industry early on. That passion never slowed down. These days he is best known around the workshop for his tuning skills, making the team laugh and eating lunch on the run.
Shaun’s approach is simple: no sugar coating, no fluff. Just honest advice and quality work you can trust.
When he is not in the workshop you can usually find him coaching basketball, fishing or spending time with his kids. His dream car is a VE GTSR and if he could only drive one car for the rest of his life it would be anything with a V8.
Who we are
Garage 27 was founded by Ryan - a hands on car guy , not a sales guy.
With 25+ years in the automotive industry, Ryan's background is in the workshop and mechanical side of the business, backed by a family history of motorsport. Cars weren't just a career path - they were part of everyday life
In 2025, he opened up Garage 27 with one clear goal: to create a dealership built on real knowledge, real integrity and real trust- no sales tactics.
This isn't a place run by people who learned cars from a sales manual. Its run by people who learned them under bonnets, in workshops and on tracks.
We are proudly community focused, locally owned and built around doing things properly- quality cars, honest conversations and a buying experience that doesn't feel uncomfortable or pressured.
